Starting from the rooftop of Africa, these spectacular four days of wildlife wonders take you through some of the best national parks in the world. Lions and cheetahs, elephants and buffaloes, as well as fascinating birdlife, all in incredible environments, provide the highlights.

Día 1Tarangire National Park

After a briefing and a two-hour drive you arrive at Tarangire. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and seasonal marshes characterise this nature reserve. Tarangire is considered one of the best places to see elephants up close, and the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests, followed by predators such as lions; leopards are seen occasionally. From the open roof of your safari vehicle you take in the landscape and watch the animals. In the evening you transfer to the lodge.

Día 2Serengeti National Park

A full day dedicated to game viewing. Your guide finds the migrating herds and the predators that follow them — lions, leopards in the acacia trees and cheetahs. From November to December the herds move south; from April to June they return north, and the exact areas vary each year with the rainfall.

Día 3Serengeti Plains – Ndutu Area

Enjoy some more game viewing before leaving the Serengeti National Park at around noon for the Ndutu area. This region features cool-climate forests with views of craters and cliffs, and wildlife such as forest elephants, buffaloes and — if you are lucky — leopards.

Día 4Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater. This collapsed volcano is home to more than 25,000 mammals including the Big Five, spotted hyenas and wild dogs, and more than 500 bird species. Extensive game drive and picnic lunch, then an afternoon return to Arusha/JRO.
