Hike through the rugged terrain of the world’s highest plateau, from 3,500 m to 3,962 m, with a certified guide and views of Kibo peak and Kilimanjaro’s northern glaciers. This moderate hike shows you volcanic cones, the Simba River gorge and neighbouring Amboseli National Park. No athletic training is needed, though the thinner air calls for a steady pace.

  1. Día 1Moshi – Shira Plateau – Moshi

    Leave Moshi for the Shira Plateau and hike its trails with your guide between 3,500 m and 3,962 m, pausing at viewpoints along the northern rim of the Shira Crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way, then return to Moshi.
