The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, lie close to the village of Rundugai and are one of Tanzania’s most serene places to relax. Crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by palm and fig trees creates an idyllic setting. Despite the name, the springs are refreshingly cool, fed by underground water from Mount Kilimanjaro itself.

  1. Jour 1Moshi – Kikuletwa Hot Springs – Moshi

    Leave Moshi for a drive of about 80 minutes through sugar-cane plantations and African scrubland. At the springs, enjoy swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing, and head back to Moshi before sunset.
