Du toit de l'Afrique aux plaines infinies du Serengeti : cinq jours de faune dans les parcs du Nord.

Based on the rooftop of Africa, this is where our lighthouse shines from and where the adventure begins. The highlight of the journey stretches from Uhuru Peak to the endless plains of the Serengeti — a short but very intense safari through Tanzania’s premier parks.
Où vous irez
Programme jour par jour
-
Jour 1Tarangire National Park
The park runs along the Tarangire River, with acacia woodland and giant baobab trees. The river and swamps attract large elephant herds in the dry season, as well as greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx and ashy starlings. Picnic lunch included; game viewing continues until the evening.
-
Jour 2Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti. The areas you visit depend on where the migrating herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees) and cheetahs. During the short rains of November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south.
-
Jour 3Serengeti National Park
A second full day following the herds' seasonal movements: south in November and December, north again from April to June. Your guide reads the rains and the herds to find the best sightings.
-
Jour 4Ngorongoro Crater
Descend 600 metres into the 17–21 km-wide crater, home to 15,000–25,000 animals — buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and gazelles — and the highest predator density in Africa, with more than 100 lions. Chances of seeing the Big Five are high. In the afternoon you climb back up the crater walls.
-
Jour 5Lake Manyara National Park
The park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds — particularly impressive are the pink flamingos, cormorants, pelicans and storks. About 400 bird species live in the park. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, and you can see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and hippos. Late in the afternoon you return to Arusha/JRO.
